Arduino Nano Powered Controller - Snaps Together
thingiverse
I designed a controller for my robotics project and here's the enclosure.\nThe case is meant to house an Arduino Nano and buttons, which I have not fully printed yet so keep that in mind.\nIt will probably see some updates before it's complete but nothing that wouldn't work with this configuration.\nYou might just need to reprint the buttons or the bottom shell at most.\nThere's a hole for a USB cable and vents on top for heat release, and it snaps together with posts.\nINSTRUCTIONS:\nPrint the enclosure, attach the posts to the top half with glue or heat melt them.\nHot glue your Arduino nano into the center of the case.\nSet up your buttons and insert your USB cable through the hole.\nSnap everything together.\nI'm also thinking about rounding off the triangle d-pad buttons and adding mounting pins for the Arduino, along with some variations that use hex screws and specific button inserts.\nThe design is open so it's flexible.\nComponents:\nArduino Nano: http://www.banggood.com/ATmega328P-Arduino-Compatible-Nano-V3-Improved-Version-With-USB-Cable-p-933647.html\nSwitches: http://www.banggood.com/100pcs-Mini-Micro-Momentary-Tactile-Tact-Switch-Push-Button-DIP-P4-p-917570.html\nIt's cheaper to order components from China, but it takes longer since they're far away.\nUnless you live in China or are close by.
