Arduino Nano holder

Arduino Nano holder

I really like the Arduino Nano, because it is small and cheap. Still it is typically well capable to play the role of a central or supporting microprocessor in homemade devices.

The only problem is that is has no mounting holes. So how do you mount is mechanically? Sure, a drop of hot glue will hold it in place. But that does not look really nice. And what if you need to have the USB connector available from outside of the housing?

For these problems I have made two different designs. One is very simple and just holds the board in place. It can be slid in and out from both sides. The other design is a bit more complex, it has holding hooks on one end, to prevent the board from sliding out there, if someone tries to push in a USB connector from the other side. It also features mounting plates for screws. (In the picture the holder is simply glued into the printed housing, as I did not want to have screws sticking out of the housing.)

I hope you find this print useful. Happy printing!
