This Arduino Shield features a single 16-channel CMOS multiplexer (DG406DJ) and custom output pin. It is milled on a single-sided PCB using Geil-o-mat with metaboard.sh script, converting .brd files to .ngc for CNC milling. The shield serves for Arduino power monitoring impulses, multiplexing 128 inputs to 8 inputs over Arduino - ATMEGA328. It is currently operational and monitors around 100 active server racks, outputting data in XML format via an Arduino Ethernet shield. For a detailed guide on the metaboard.sh PCB-CNC project, refer to the Metalab.at wiki. The process involves inputting .brd circuit design files, generating gerber files for layers and drilling points, using Visolate to create isolation paths, merging .ngc files, and obtaining a single output file ready for milling with Geil-o-mat support from metalab.at/Bernhard Kubicek.
