Arduino mount for DF Robot devastator tank
thingiverse
I bought a DF Robot devastator tank kit for my project, but unfortunately, I didn't purchase their recommended control board - the one with pre-drilled holes matching the tank chassis alignment. To solve this issue, I came up with a custom mount to hold the Arduino and L298N motor controller securely in place on the tank chassis. My journey began with an Arduino bumper created by Chu, which I used as my foundation. Next, I added the mount for the L298N motor controller along with mounting holes designed specifically for the tank chassis. The end result is that both the Arduino and L298N snugly fit into the custom-made mount without needing to utilize the built-in mounting holes on each board. Thanks to this custom design, I was able to align perfectly with the pre-drilled holes on the tank chassis. Once I opened up the program, it was simply a matter of measuring with calipers and making precise calculations based on my designs. Note: The original text's Print Settings section seems unrelated to the project described, so it has been kept as is in the rewritten text.
