This board, inspired by RAMPS 1.0, is no longer suggested for use; view comments below to discover the recommended replacement. The shield serves as a breakout to operate a RepRap from an Arduino Mega using Pololu's stepper drivers. It is based on a design by JohnnyR (http://reprap.org/wiki/Arduino_Mega_Pololu_Shield). Please be aware that this board hasn't been tested yet, and there are no guarantees of its functionality. Production of the board can be done inexpensively through Seeedstudio (currently 10 copies for $40 plus a small shipping fee): http://www.seeedstudio.com/depot/fusion-pcb-2-layer-10cm10cm-max-10pcs-p-396.html?cPath=64_12. A creative approach to crowd-sourcing involves purchasing 10 boards, using one, keeping a spare, and selling the rest on eBay at a reasonable price. The user has no affiliation with Seeedstudio but has successfully ordered boards from them in the past. For instructions, visit http://reprap.org/wiki/Arduino_Mega_Pololu_Shield.
