Arduino Mega Platform for Terminal Shield

Arduino Mega Platform for Terminal Shield

thingiverse

This is a platform designed to attach an Arduino Mega, allowing for stacking of a Screw Terminal Shield and a USB Host Shield. The entire setup can be mounted using the screw holes provided. To access the ICSP header on the Arduino Mega, a 2x3 ICSP Female Stackable Shield Header must be purchased as seen in the photos. Screws used to mount the Mega and cap are shown in the last photo. To assemble this platform: 1. Attach the Arduino Mega to the platform using screws. 2. Insert the 2x3 ICSP Female header into place. 3. Carefully stack the Screw Terminal shield onto the Mega, aligning pins with the Mega's sockets (ICSP header pins come through first as shown). 4. Stack the USB Host Shield onto the Screw Terminal Shield, carefully lining up pins for the ICSP Header. 5. Place and screw in the Platform Cap if necessary. 6. Secure the USB Cable using a zip tie to prevent loose movement. Note: Five wire guides on either side of the platform help organize wires from the Screw Terminal Shield.
