prusaprinters
This is a platform that allows you to screw on an Arduino Mega so that you can push on a stackable Screw Terminal Shield as well as a USB Host Shield and then be able to mount the entire setup using the screw holes provided. In order to access to the ICSP header on the Arduino Mega, you will need to purchase a 2x3 ICSP Female Stackable Shield Header as show in the photos. Screws used to mount the Mega and cap are shown in the last photo. STEPS: Screw the Arduino Mega onto the platform. Push on the 2x3 ICSP Female header. Carefully stack the Screw Terminal shield onto the Mega by lining up the pins into the Mega's sockets (pins on the ICSP header will come through first in the location shown. 4. Carefully stack the USB Host Shield onto the Screw Terminal Shield being careful to also line up the pins for the ICSP Header. 5. Push the Platform Cap into place and screw it in if needed. 6. Zip Tie the USB Cable into place to prevent it from wiggling loose. Note: There are 5 wire guides on either side of the platform to allow you to organize the wires that may come down from the Screw Terminal Shield. Category: Electronics
