Arduino Mega/Due Breadboard
thingiverse
Like the Nucleo MBED's or Arduino Uno form factor boards, this design is tailored for the Arduino Mega form factor boards. Every one of these boards is engineered to utilize interchangeable panels that house displays, rotary encoders, switches and more. Essentially, it enables prototyping while keeping the prototype reasonably portable. I rely on small brass threaded inserts (3mm) to provide attachment points for both the Nucleo board as well as having the capacity to attach a panel at the rear of the breadboard assembly to hold project-specific items like potentiometers, banana jacks and so forth. All my breadboards are designed to utilize interchangeable panels that hold non-breadboardable components. A prime example is shown here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2439398
