I upgraded Semborski's Arduino MEGA 1280 Case to fit my Arduino MEGA 2560 clone perfectly; despite some flaws in the original design. The main issue was that the MEGA 1280 has fewer pins than the MEGA 2560, making it impossible to access I2C ports or secondary ICSP headers with Semborski's case. Additionally, the original lacked an access hole for the main ICSP header and reset button, along with a few other problems. Therefore, importing it into OpenSCAD was my only solution; I then modified it randomly. Here are the changes I made (only on top because bottom remains unchanged): • Extended all existing holes to make them longer, thicker, and better aligned with my MEGA 2560 clone. • Added holes for both ICSP headers and reset button. • Enlarged the USB port and added spacing for power port. • Provided supports around holes to make them more rigid and other supporting structures in areas that felt weak on the original. I've included a bottom for the case, even though I haven't modified it, so you can use it straight away without having to download the original. If you want one of the other original bottoms, you can find them here.
