Arduino Materia 101 - Low profile glass plate clips
thingiverse
After attaching the extruder fan duct to my Arduino Materia 101 (check out http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:867746), I decided to replace the original clips with clips having a lower profile to prevent them from obstructing the extruder or the fan duct during large prints. The standard clips are designed specifically for glass plates covered with blue painter's tape along their edges and bottom, resulting in the following thickness: glass thickness plus two times the tape thickness. If you use no tape or apply it differently, these clips might not function as intended for your setup. Printing Details I printed mine using black PLA at 0.2mm layers. To ensure a reliable supply of working clips, I suggest printing four copies so that if something happens to the two currently in use, you have spare pairs waiting in the wings.
