Arduino Materia 101 - Fan Guard With Logo
thingiverse
After discovering dust accumulation on the "petals" of my fans, I made a conscious decision to craft two protective guards for my extruder fan and X axis motor fan. The new shields feature my personal logo prominently displayed. Following printing, I carefully painted my logo as well as one circle with high-gloss acrylic paint in transparent finish. These protective covers fit perfectly onto 40x40mm fans. Fitting instructions: To assemble the guard on your 40x40mm fan, I used white PLA and printed it with a layer height of 0.2mm and concentric infill pattern. After completion of the print process, remember that you will need to secure longer screws or bolts in order to install the protective shield behind the fans.
