Arduino (Funduino) with CNC shield housing
thingiverse
If you own an Arduino with CNC shield V.3, this might be your housing. I bought a bundle together with a Funduino board, which should work with the measurement compatible with Arduino Leonardo, but I haven't verified that yet. So, I've included the SketchUp files for easy modifications. If you want to use a Arduino UNO, you'll need to modify the USB outlet. My first top cover was made with 0.2mm layers. Because the transparent material is very hard and brittle, some pins broke easily. With 0.1mm layers, I had no issues and the closure fits perfectly. If you're worried that your pins might break, just extend the size of the pin on the bottom layer or set the wall thickness to more than 0.8mm. For myself, it worked very well with reducing the layer height. The side hole is for the stepper motors power supply socket. The second hole on the top cover is for an emergency button that basically resets the Arduino. The three square openings are for the cooling of the stepper drivers. The pictures are self-explaining, I guess. Please don't rely on the measures if you use a different Arduino board. Check it before printing. For that reason, I've included the SketchUp (V15.3.x) source files, feel free to adjust them for your own needs.
