Arduino (Elegoo) Uno R3 Microprocessor Protective case housing
thingiverse
This is a first draft of a project I created to house an Arduino Uno R3 microprocessor, similar to the design I'm showcasing here. The cutouts on either side have ample space to accommodate various cable connectors. No fasteners are required - instead, the tabs on the lid simply slide into corresponding slots inside the main body, securing it with a snug fit. This version features 3 cutouts on the lid: 2 openings for the pins and 1 slot for the reset button, which will require a paper clip or toothpick to activate. The 4 pegs at the bottom of the main body align perfectly with holes on the board, ensuring a secure hold - users can also add double-sided tape for extra stability, especially since soldering methods may vary among manufacturers. I produced mine using clear/translucent filament so that I could easily see the power and indicator LEDs on the board. Future revisions might include additional cutouts for more connectors on the board and other enhancements. Enjoy printing this project! If you encounter any issues with the parts, please don't hesitate to let me know. Happy printing!
