Arduino Distance Sensor Case
thingiverse
A custom-designed 3D printable enclosure for an Arduino-compatible distance sensor. The case features a screw attachment point, allowing users to mount the sensor above a surface and keep it out of sight. Original power and sensor connectors were replaced with a female receptacle connector, specifically a Conn Header 4-position 2.5mm type. This modification ensures that connections are secure and polarity is clearly marked, eliminating the risk of misidentification. The back panel cover fits snugly in place, despite appearing to have a gap according to the design drawings. In reality, the cover is slightly smaller than the surrounding rectangle, providing a precise fit.
