Video: https://youtu.be/SAgiv4o8rxQ This turntable has undergone significant improvements over my hand-cranked version, which can be found here: https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-fully-3d-printable-turntable-104726. Many people suggested adding a stepper motor to achieve exceptional cinematic shots, and that's exactly what I've done. I have taken it a step further by incorporating more functionality than just a regular cinematic turntable. The device now allows users to capture photos 360 degrees around an object using the turntable as a rig. The smartphone takes the photos through a Bluetooth remote located inside the turntable. To accomplish this, I employed a simple and straightforward solution involving a servo that presses the button on the Bluetooth remote. I chose this method because Apple products tend not to connect with HC-05 and HC-06 Bluetooth modules. However, I'm sure a cleaner and more durable approach would be to use these modules with an Android device. Users can determine the number of photos to be taken, ranging from 2 to 200, by adjusting values in the Arduino program. The captured photos can later be converted into a 3D-model using photogrammetry software like Autodesk Recap Photo. The second menu allows users to capture cinematic shots of their objects by rotating the turntable at a constant speed chosen by the user, ranging from 1 to 17 RPM. In the third and final menu, users can manually control the turntable to bring the plate to the desired position at the preferred speed.
