Arduino CO-CO2 Sensor v.2

Arduino CO-CO2 Sensor v.2

thingiverse

This is a revised version of my previous project, Arduino CO2 Sensor. The most significant changes include the addition of an OLED display, a Carbon Monoxide Sensor to detect toxic gas resulting from incomplete combustion, a ventilation system and data recording capabilities. I fabricated the case using PLA with my Prusa i3 x 3D printer. The MQ135 air-quality sensor is controlled by an Arduino Mega and connected via a HC-06 Bluetooth module to interact with an Android smartphone, displaying ppm levels in real-time. A yellow LED will illuminate when the sensor detects 1000 ppm, while a red LED will switch on at 1500 ppm. I designed this sensor specifically for educational institutions, as research indicates that high CO2 levels decrease student attention span. You can view my recorded CO2 graph from my classroom on my website.
