Arduino CNC Shield Box
thingiverse
Update 18 Mar 2019: Thanks for pointing out that the reset button wasn't properly attached to the top case. I checked and it was true, even in the STL file. It seems I made a mistake when converting my original CAD file to STL, but I've now fixed this by re-exporting to STL again. The new case_Top_20190318.stl should work fine. Hope this solves the issue. _________________________ This design is a remix from www.thingiverse.com/thing:1765459. I made some changes to allow the fan to be mounted inside the box and added a push post based on the idea from www.thingiverse.com/thing:2414345 to access the reset button on the CNC shield. You have two options for the button - it can either be flush or protruding, depending on your preference. The side supports are stronger now for better stability of both the top and bottom parts of the main case. The side plates give you four different options: 1. Blank: Customize with various holes as needed using your own CAD software. 2. Power & USB: With through-holes for power inlets, USB sockets for standard CNC shield and UNO. 3. Power & USB: As option 2 but designed for micro-USB socket version of UNO. 4. StepperCables: With four through-holes for grommet and cable bundle for each stepper. Feel free to tip if you like this design! Thanks for your support.
