I needed a well adjust case, and to have the source code to be able to customize the case. So I have made a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:628929 [but based on 8cm instead of 3''], The assembly is 2cm thick. I publish the OpenScad code, so you can tune it according to your needs. (the code is little bit messy as usual) I publish the "Ear" version to attach the case with scratches (as a example).
