Arduino Case

This is Thing-a-Week #3. Previous projects can be found at iheartrobotics.com/search/label/thing-a-week. Version 0.0 of a modular case for Arduino and other electronics projects has been developed. After testing, the next step will involve exploring mass production options using injection molding. The design allows for six components to fit across in a standard one unit rack or four when oriented differently. Most shields can be accommodated within the space provided, while room at the front enables installation of a display circuit board. The end piece with a cutout is specifically designed to hold a 3mm thick plate made from materials such as acrylic, wood, or others that can be laser-cut or hacksawed. It's anticipated that Makerbot versions will be compatible even when faced with overhang issues. Feedback on any potential oversights would be greatly appreciated.
