Arduino Bumper Covered

Arduino Bumper Covered

thingiverse

To protect an Arduino in a project, I crafted an insulated bumper with a covered bottom and a top ridge to securely hold the board while producing a satisfying "click" sound upon insertion. Enhancing durability, I thickened the lip and lengthened the board for better edge compensation. Clearance holes were slightly enlarged. A CAD drawing update improved lip strength with added fillets. In 2014, unnecessary interior plastic was removed, and USB/power cuts allowed compatibility with Arduino Ethernet. Instructions include cooling bed, removal, Arduino insertion, and ridge engagement. This design was by Chu.
