Arduino Bumper

thingiverse

Introducing the Arduino Bumper, inspired by Arduino design and iPhone Bumper! This minimalist case ensures your Arduino can be placed on conductive surfaces without short-circuiting. It press fits onto Uno and Leonardo models, with recessed grooves for perfect board alignment. The latest version (0006) features mounting holes. Printing on an Ultimaker takes approximately 30 mins using PrintRun, with Slic3r settings of 0.1 mm layer thickness, six solid layers top and bottom, 0% density (hollow), two perimeters/walls, and a 0.4mm nozzle. Results may vary with different nozzle sizes; please share any issues encountered. Note that the Arduino Leonardo might have a tighter fit due to manufacturing edges. Autodesk Inventor file included for customization.
