Hello everybody! Today I'm excited to share with you my latest project - a custom case for the ArduinoWelder. This clever device is capable of welding 18650 batteries or other materials using nickel strips approximately 0.15mm thick. The author of the electronic schematics, PCB design, and concept behind this innovative gadget can be found at https://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-Arduino-Battery-Spot-Welder/. This project has undergone several iterations, and I hope my custom case will prove useful to both owners of the original device and those with newer versions. The lower compartment is specifically designed for accommodating copper or aluminum contacts up to 3-4mm in thickness. All design work was accomplished using FUSION 360. You can find the f3d file within the project resources, which will also be necessary when creating a custom plexiglas cover.
