Arduino and NodeMCU box with screen

thingiverse

Two custom enclosures for various microcontrollers, including Arduino, NodeMCU, and Raspberry Pi, are designed to accommodate displays in front. These small info screens display time, temperature, and other information. The designs take inspiration from compact boxes on Thingiverse but are larger to fit boards like the Arduino or Particle Photon. The TFT version is the largest enclosure, accommodating a 100mm x 70mm board with a 1.8-inch SPI serial LCD display module. Depending on configuration, it can also fit smaller boards. The TFT box has two designs: one with soft edges and another with a flat front. Printing the boxes with curved edges in the front requires printing with supports, which can be time-consuming but produces nice results. However, for easier printing, an additional design with a flat face was created, allowing it to be printed without support material. The OLED enclosure is designed to house ESP8266 modules and 0.96-inch IIC I2C blue OLED displays. It can fit boards up to 70mm x 55mm in size and comes in two versions: one with a PIR sensor hole and another without. The back cover for the OLED version remains untested. When using these enclosures, silicone feet are added for stability. Links to download STL files for each enclosure design are provided on A360.
