Arduino 2560 & Ramps 1.4 enclosure
thingiverse
This is a straightforward two-part design that completely encases a stacked Arduino 2560 and Ramps 1.4 board with minimal additional hardware required - essentially just four screws for the fan. Access is provided at one end for the Power-in jack, a Power in 4-pin plug, a USB socket, and the 4-6 cables for extruder, heatbed & fan. The opposite side features a slot for the SD card and LCD display flat cables to exit. Two additional openings on the sides allow for routing motor, thermistor, etc. cables in and out. Atop is an optional slot for a digital voltage display (available at http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Voltage-Meter-Wires-LED-Panel-Tester-5-30V-Digital-DC-Display-Mini-Voltmeter-/122603915514?var=&hash=item1c8bc348fa:m:myYUKOVXlSa3HbhtvRtleiQ). A mounting point for a 40mm fan serves as both the locking point for the two halves of the enclosure and holds it together. This design prioritizes simplicity, functionality, and aesthetics to ensure that it blends in with any printer build without drawing attention. The Arduino and Ramps boards themselves do not require fastening down since the design securely holds them in place when closed. Additional 3mm holes are provided at the base for mounting the enclosure if desired.
