ArduCam with GoPro Mounting and Flexible Arm
thingiverse
I was really impressed by the flexible arm that Michael at Teaching Tech designed, it was the best camera arm I had found, but I wanted to use my ArduCam IR camera. I was able to find an ArduCam IR case with a STEP file and modified it to match the GoPro standard mount. I then used Michael's generic camera mount STEP file to convert it to the GoPro standard to match the case. The links to the "things" are listed below: Teaching Tech Arm: -Files Used: 2020 base, link, mid-size locking ring -Files Modified: Generic Camera Mount -No supports needed for these parts as his video and page notes. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3223979/remixes ArduCam IR Case: -Files Used: Case_Front_Improved. There are several variations so you can choose your own -Files Modified: Case_Back_Improved -My case back has the GoPro mounting standard, NEEDS SUPPORTS https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3402755 So to recreate the system I made, use the following; -ArduCam Case Bottom with GoPro Mounting, QTY: 1 -Case_Front_Improved, QTY: 1 -Base, QTY: 1 from Teaching Tech or other remixes. I used the 2020 base -Ball_Socket - GoPro Mount, QTY: 1 -Link, QTY: As many as you want. I used the mid-sized ring -Locking Ring, QTY: As many as you want -M3 x 15mm screws, QTY: 4. These hold together the front and back of the case
