Arducam Mount for Monoprice Select Mini v2
thingiverse
#### Why? #### I tried to find a Arducam mount for the Monoprice Select Mini v2 but the ones out there require two extra holes on the printer bed that some MPSMv2 have; unfortunately mine doesn't have them. This was my first attempt designing something while trying to reuse the two existing screws in the printer bed. Feedback is welcomed! #### Hardware Utilized #### * [Arducam OV5647](https://www.arducam.com/product/b003301-arducam-5mp-ov5647-1080p-noir-camera-for-raspberry-pi-infrared-camera-module-sensitive-to-ir-light/ "Arducam OV5647") * 2x #6 Screws & Nuts: [#6-32 x 3/4 in](https://www.homedepot.com/p/6-32-x-3-4-in-Combo-Round-Head-Zinc-Plated-Machine-Screw-8-Pack-803031/204274604 "#6-32 x 3/4 in") * 4x M2 Screws & Nuts: [M2 x 6 mm](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07W6GMK58 "M2 x 6 mm") #### Things to Improve #### 1. *Screws*: Normalize screw holes to either Metric or Inches but not both :-) 2. *Nuts*: Add hex nut recesses to screw holes for a snug fit. 3. *Cable Clip*: Add a cable clip on the side of the support to secure the ribbon cable. #### Big Thanks #### * **Kevin Kennedy** from [Product Design Online](https://www.youtube.com/c/ProductDesignOnline/featured "Product Design Online"), their YouTube channel taught me a lot about Fusion 360. * **Joe B.**, **Conor N.** and **Ed B.** who got me into the 3D printing world while being a big help!
