Sheela-na-Gig3d receives backing from Heritage Council of Ireland Current Location - A well-preserved Sheela-na-gig, crafted in low relief on a voussoir from an arch (RO045-077005-) (dims. H 0.44m; Wth 0.1-0.4m; T 0.3m), is located at Rahara church (RO045-077001-). This sheela boasts a figure with braided hair. She displays clear facial features, including a large nose, mouth and eyes, along with what appears to be facial hair on her upper lip. Her hands are reaching behind her legs and grasping her vulva open. The legs are spread wide with knees bent and feet pointed outwards. Her breasts are carved apart, with the right being more prominent. She has a round belly button at her center.
