Arctic Cat Choke Lever threaded
thingiverse
This is an improved design for the Arctic Cat Snowmobile Choke Lever, featuring several key changes: 1. The tube and nut now feature threads, enabled by incorporating the Poor Man's OpenSCAD Screw Library. 2. I enlarged the base and shaft of the cable puller to increase stability. 3. I also widened the lever to match the expanded dimensions of the puller for optimal function. 4. To enhance identification, I added the text "Choke" directly to the lever. 5. Additionally, an oversized nut bearing the inscription "Arctic Cat" was designed. You can find this modified design at https://youtu.be/VU-hWi7gOz0 Print Settings: Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: High .1mm Infill: 100% Notes: Only supports are necessary for the lever To simplify the printing process, print the cable puller and main tube simultaneously. Printing a single cable puller can be challenging due to insufficient cooling between layers; layer stacking hot plastic together may lead to unwanted deformation. Post-Printing: To connect the lever to the puller, I chose to use a cotter pin rather than a zip tie.
