Architect Lamp - Table Clamp
prusaprinters

I designed this base Table Clamp for renovation of an old Architect Lamp. The model will work with most Architect lamps.

The bolt used is a standard metric M8 x 60mm full threaded and standard M8 nut.

Tip:
As the gripping surfaces are smooth to avoid making marks when the holder is clamped on a soft surface like pine, the holder can slip on hard smooth surfaces. To avoid this, it is useful to place/glue rubber, felt or cork to the gripping surfaces.
This is also what I use, even on the original metal holders.

Have fun…

>> If you like it, please leave a like, a make or maybe a rate… :)

Print instructions

Printed without support and use right off the print bed.
There are no sharp edges for safety.

Suggested material is PETG.
Use 3 perimeters, a layer height of 0.20mm, 4 top and 3 bottom layers.

15-20% infill will make a strong part and using semi-transparent material will make the infill pattern visible (recommend Gyroid infill).

Shown model is printed in Devil Design Ruby Red PETG.
