A buddy of mine picked up a small toy crossbow that fires toothpicks - sounded like a blast, so I had to design a tiny target stand to match its size. The styrofoam base is a 4" X 4" block (or 100mm X 100mm for my metric friends). I used a sturdy post for extra strength, which means the styrofoam needs to be pretty thick - I cut mine from a block that came with a printer I bought. I printed out 4" photos of targets and glued them onto the stand using a glue stick. You could easily search online for target images, but I uploaded my own just in case you want to save some time. This project doesn't require a lot of extra thickness or infill, but I chose 80% fill because it only adds about three minutes to the print time. The target rods are fairly thick, although they don't need to be - I just prefer over-engineering to prevent them from breaking off. Maybe I'll update this design with detachable rods or adapt a household item later on. One more thing: since the stand is symmetrical, I only printed one version and then duplicated it.
