Archery Target Pin

I'm not sure if this is truly a remix - perhaps inspired by is the more accurate term. I created several of the originals and crafted a case for them. However, this project is a complete rebuild of the pin using Fusion 360 files. To improve fit, I eliminated the side flare so they nest tightly in the new case, and rounded the grips to ensure the cap fits regardless of its orientation. The cap benefits from having the outer edge of the snap reduced with a file - it makes getting on the case much easier without affecting the release mechanism. Printing with a 0.4mm nozzle can cause two dimples to go all the way through since the wall thickness is only .25mm thick. I printed some originals at 20% infill and found them to be surprisingly durable, but they eventually broke off at the base of the pin. Attempting to print this one with 100% infill has been unsuccessful so far. To be honest, ring-shank nails are likely superior pins. If I were serious about crafting custom pins, I'd simply create end caps for nails instead.
