Archery Sight Sled
thingiverse
This is our most used sight on the target frames at the archery club. However, when guests mishandle these devices they can sometimes crack on the bottom clamp assembly. My goal is to recycle the metal components from a damaged sled by extracting all of its parts and then heating them up so that I can insert them into a brand new one I have printed myself. I'm currently working on this project as it stands, but once my 3D printer gets back online I plan on making adjustments to improve its stability. It's possible that the most effective approach will be to add additional reinforcement to the clamping section. The image of the orange component is what I am trying to replace.
