Archery Quiver PVC Fitting for 2in PVC Pipe
thingiverse
You can simply retrieve your arrows from the target instead of lugging a quiver around on your back or tied to your bow. A neat setup lets you bolt a 2" PVC tube onto a base, providing an archery range with standing arrow holders. The source code in Jscad is included for any tweaks you want to make; just grab the STL file and print it out as well. Print this model to get started on your own standing quiver system. Start by cutting an 18-20" long section of Schedule 40 PVC Pipe - go ahead and match it up with the length of your arrows, if you like. Next, chop down a 6in x 6in piece of wood for the base; I recommend using 1in (3/4in nominal) pine for this project. Take your markers and draw an X on the wooden board using its four corners - positioning your quiver fitting so these lines align with all four screw holes will get it perfectly centered. Next up, mark out the spots where you'll be driving in the screws. After removing the fitting from the base, carefully drill pilot holes for them before bolting the quiver assembly together. Apply a suitable coating to the inside of the fitting - you can use glue or epoxy to do the trick. Finish things off by slipping the PVC pipe into the quiver, giving it a half-turn so that it sits firmly in place.
