Most commercial-grade splicing tools are too large to use effectively in normal situations, requiring a bow saw setup. The average player may not have access to this environment; or in an emergency outside, the bulky tool is often cumbersome to handle. To address this issue, we created a miniature version of the splicing tool, compact and lightweight, which performs well on both main strings and secondary cables.
