ArChery Arrow Rest - whisker biscuit
thingiverse
Popular whisker biscuit style arrow rest crafted from discarded Chinese toothbrushes. Cut the toothbrushes in half, then secure them to a printed part using hot glue. Attach the entire assembly to an archery bow or sling using either hot glue or screws. Voila! This homemade arrow rest can be paired with 3D printed arrow fletchings found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1755574 and 3D printed compound PVC bows available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1755567. After rigorous testing, I recommend using these fletchings: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1362071. Do not use conventional silicone soft fletchings with this arrow rest as they tend to wobble excessively during the initial stages of flight and easily become stuck in the arrow rest. Print Settings: Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.25mm Infill: At least 25% Notes: Using a heat gun, you can shape the handle angle to better suit your bow's design.
