After converting my Ender 3 Pro to direct drive via the [Direct Drivinator](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3589452) I was displeased with how my filament was scraping along the top edge of the frame. With my desk there's a shelf that prevents me from simply mounting the spool holder directly above the printer. After a bit of searching, I found alc6379's genius design that used a ball joint with a hole in the middle to keep the filament in place. I made my own version that mounts on the top of the printer rather than on the side. Works wonders!
