Sculpture of an Archaeopteryx lithographica skull. I've based much of the proportions on the 2d reconstruction from Peter Wellnhofer. Lots of reference used from the CT scans of the London specimen. The rest is mostly based on the Thermopolis, Eichstätt and Munich specimens. Archaeopteryx is one of the oldest known birds. It lived during the Late Jurassic in what is now Bavaria, Germany.
