ArcBox8 + Top

ArcBox8 + Top

This box is nearly identical to ArcBox7 but boasts an added feature - a secure-fitting lid. The lid snaps into place perfectly due to a clever design element: a groove along its lower edge that seamlessly matches a corresponding ridge on top of the box. I successfully printed the lid without any support material, and the close-up shot reveals what the interior of the lid looks like. You may achieve even better results by incorporating supports into your print job. My own print employed a layer height of 0.200 mm for both components - the lid took just over four hours to complete, while the base required approximately twenty-four hours to finish.
