Arcade1up Pinball Mod - Real PinDMD Mount

Hi everyone! When modding my Arcade1up Star Wars pinball cabinet, I wanted to replace the tiny stock DMD screen with a full-sized real one. This mod uses PinDMD v3; I bought mine from virtuapin.net. To accommodate the large PinDMD, I needed to use smaller front speakers with this design. I used "Gikfun 2 inch speakers" from Amazon. They were just the right size, and they sound great in my cabinet. I installed the PinDMD while working on the inside hardware of the cabinet. It looks and played great until I re-installed the playfield glass. The reflection of the PinDMD was VERY noticeable. At first, I thought I would just live with it - the extra "flashing light" reflection reminded me of a real arcade, but it was just too distracting. Luckily, another company makes filters for DMD's. I ordered one, and designed a "faceplate" for it, and it works perfectly! The reflections are gone, while the filter actually makes the PinDMD look even better! The black areas are inky black, while the LED's are very colourful without being too bright. The glare eliminator isn't essential, but it is a really nice touch to help finish off your cabinet.
