Arcade Joystick for Sanwa JLF with 10 button set
thingiverse
Created this arcade joystick for my RetroPie rig. Used Sanwa JLF joystick with 8 regular buttons + 2 smaller buttons on the side (select & start). Should work with cheaper copies of the same set just fine, but haven't tested. Since I own Ender 5 Pro printer, couldn't print the size I wanted, so I've split each of the wide parts into two (box, top panel and top cover). Used Lego-type mechanism to patch it all together once printed - actually works pretty nicely without any glue, due tight fit of the patches. In order to completely hide joystick mounting plate and screws, top part is printed as two elements - main panel, onto which you screw the joystink on, and then top cover, which again snaps on top of it using Lego-like mechanism. In the bottom of the box, there are mounting points for the joystick controller CY-822A. Finished joystick works great, top panel is big enough to rest your palms, and since main box is a bit narrower, you can hold it firmly between your legs. Although parts are help firmly together and will not fall apart, glueing them together might take out a bit of squeeze that I feel with one of them - will try at some point. Bottom is smooth, so can get slippery on a smooth table - so up to you to figure that one out - I'm personally planning to glue a piece of rubber once I find it :) Ordered parts from AliExpress here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32848380256.html?spm=a2g0o.order_detail.order_detail_item.3.77b9f19cDyli0p
