This massive villa, known as House of Aion, boasts an impressive arcade that serves as a decorative highlight. Unveiling its secrets, the University of Warsaw has successfully excavated three rooms within this sprawling estate, revealing a fascinating glimpse into the past. At the heart of the villa lies a main room that was likely used as a grand triclinium or reception area, where lavish gatherings and important events took place. Meanwhile, two smaller rooms showcase exquisite geometric mosaics that demonstrate exceptional craftsmanship. Further excavation has uncovered a collapsed villa wall that now resides in Paphos Archaeological Park, meticulously restored to its former glory.
