Arcade Controller BIG case
thingiverse
Hi!\nRecently, I bought an Arcade Controller Kit (http://www.ebay.com/itm/201344779838) and always wanted a big case so I designed this.\nNot much explanation is needed; just print and assemble.\nGreat for classic arcades on MAME emulators.\nOnly some screws are required to fix the joystick in place.\nThe modules are joined using pins and glue. Lateral parts fit without glue, while covers for buttons and joystick simply snap into place without needing any adhesive or screws.\nThere's room for six 30mm buttons on top, one 30mm button on each side (perfect for pinballs), and two 24mm buttons in the central module (used for Coin and Start).\nThe central piece has space for electronics and no support is needed; just place them inside and connect all the wires.\nTip: Glue some EVA foam to the bottom for a secure grip on your table. Tip: Use cyanocrilate-based glue for PLA, as it works really well.\nThis design also features customized joysticks! I've included two customized joysticks for replacing the red ball - the European stick and a Pac-Man stick. Simply screw them onto the metal bar.\nI hope you have fun building this project!\nHave Fun!!\nPrint Settings:\nPrinter: BQ Prusa i3 Hephestos\nRafts: No\nSupports: No\nResolution: 0.3\nInfill: 15%\nNotes: Tested with PLA and no supports. A bit of overhanging on inner parts, but the exterior turns out fine.\nUse a 0.3mm resolution for fast printing and 15 or 20% infill to achieve a strong structure.
