This is a guide to easily cut neat, even holes in arcade back doors. Specifically, this was used for an Atari Space Duel machine. Originally, I tried cutting the hole by hand with a jigsaw, but the results were uneven and didn't look good. I designed this as a solution to temporarily guide a router "flush bit" so you can easily cut smooth holes with rounded corners. Print 2 of these guides and attach them together. Then fasten it to the board temporarily. (I drilled 3/8 inch holes and used wooden dowels.) Next, drill holes, and cut out the main part with a jigsaw, but don't go all the way to the edges. Then use a router bit to make a clean, smooth finish. The plastic will be the guide, so you get a smooth line and nice rounded corners. Remove the plastic when done. On my Space Duel machine, the top "hole" of the cutout should be at 1 3/4 inches, and the guide should be centered.
