This is a token adapter designed to convert quarter coin mechs into 0.900 token mechs. It may not be as secure, but it works well for home arcades. Some machines will need adjustments made to the bounce back if they were originally set precisely for quarters. A photo shows a coin mech with an adjustable bounce back, while another photo depicts one without this feature, which usually won't work with this adapter. However, I've had some success with them. For the weight on the adapter, a bent paper clip works well - it's attached in a way that can be seen by looking at the photos.
