Arcada mozárabe. San Miguel de Escalada
sketchfab
The southern wall of the building features an open arcade that is likely connected to Asturian preromanesque architecture, particularly with the San Salvador de Valdedios temple. This porticoed space consists of twelve horseshoe arches, seven of which are 10th-century Mozarabic works, while the rest were added later; the arches are supported by stepped columns topped with Corinthian capitals and marble cimacies.
