Arc-V Duel Disk
thingiverse
What's this? A custom-made Duel Disk for the popular card game Yu-Gi-Oh! ARCV. The goal is to create a fully movable model, and here's a GIF of the 3D design in action. To bring this project to life, I printed the OnePartVersion.STL file and painted it with vibrant colors. To add an extra touch, I glued a black acrylic screen on top. On July 30th, 2017, I completed the OnePart DuelDisk model by adjusting its size to perfection. The details were spot on! But before that, on July 2nd, 2017, I worked on the PlayZone Detail Sketch to get everything just right. And if you're wondering how it all began, take a look at my Summer Vacation post from June 22nd, 2017. It's where this project started taking shape. Now, let's move on to the demo video, which showcases the finished product in action. I printed the model at 100% scale, but initially thought it was too big. So, I updated Version 1.0 and made a few tweaks here and there. By the way, the shaft hole is 2.5mm, while the shaft itself is 2mm. Unfortunately, our school's 3D printer isn't the best, so I had to work with what I had. Here are the print settings I used: * Printer Brand: MakerBot * Printer Model: MakerBot Replicator Z18 * Rafts: Yes * Supports: Yes * Resolution: 0.2mm * Infill: 15% * Notes: 218C Extruder, 40C Chamber
