Iron Man ARC Reactor Inspired Wireless QI Charger 10/22/19 Update: Version 2.0 is Here! A major upgrade has been added, featuring a sleeker and cooler looking stand for the charging pad. The new design can be printed in two parts - Base and Upper - or as one complete model for those with advanced printers. Additionally, the nameplate is now a separate part, allowing users to create their own custom designs. Real M2 screws are used for mounting, ensuring a sturdy and secure setup. The charging chip used in this design may not be an exact match, but its dimensions should still work seamlessly. Check out the AliExpress link below to see the actual chip: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32886856041.html?spm=a2g0o.detail.1000023.5.17ef54a0SoD5vp While a stand is not required, it's highly recommended to use a standoff for airflow purposes, as the QI chip tends to heat up during charging. This design was initially created for a DIY kit found on AliExpress, which unfortunately is no longer available. However, the provided images will give you an idea of what to expect. The stand was designed with a Samsung Galaxy S7 in mind, but it also works perfectly with my current S10 and my wife's LG ThinQ. While it should be compatible with most phones, there's always a chance that larger devices might not work as intended.
