The Mulcher, also known as the ARC gun, is an extraterrestrial firearm that unleashes a torrent of electricity. Like all alien armaments, it only fires when wielded by a non-human or a genetically altered Wikus. The weapon harnesses extremely hazardous protonic current, which has a large damage radius and destructive potential. Upon direct contact with a living organism, one blast from the Mulcher causes it to rapidly superheat and explode in a violent, swift, and often gruesome manner. Although a direct hit is the most effective method, even minor superficial injuries inflicted by the weapon can result in fatal consequences such as severe burns and dismemberment.
