Mount Ararat proudly stands as a cherished national emblem for the Armenian people everywhere. Uniting all Armenians in a shared sense of pride and identity, Mount Ararat takes its place alongside other instantly recognizable symbols that bring them together as one. For over two hundred years now, this majestic mountain has held a special place in the hearts of Armenians, ever since Russian expansion into the Caucasus region led to its iconic status being forever cemented in official imagery. Perched atop its surroundings at an impressive 5,137 meters or 16,854 feet, the towering peak is unmistakable as the highest point in the area – and the taller of two prominent peaks that dominate the landscape. The model was carefully crafted from SRTM data and brought to life using Accutrans 3d and Blender.
