The helmet adapter is designed and formed to the chin contour of the Arai XD Helmet allowing you to use some double sided 3M sticky tape to attach it to the helmet for mounting action cams. (The thick 3m grey tape that comes with action cams worked perfect to motovlog for 2 years and still attached) Stick that to your helmet. Then stick the base mount of your choice to it. I added an offset mount to move the cam to the side but it is a bit tight on a stock mount. Might need some sanding... or tweak the model.
